Couples pick locations for their engagement session based on many reasons. For Andrea and Matt, it was St. Anthony Main, where they met.

LOVE these.

Andrea and Matt, I had a lot of fun hanging out with you! Thank you for sharing your stories with me. I hope you enjoy the photos and I look forward to your wedding next month!

I recently met up with My Choi, creator and founder of PaperThick Ink to do some product photography for her website. My also happens to be one of my 2009 brides. So when My asked me to shoot her paper goods I was more than honored to!
My had some amazing paper for me to shoot so I took to the task of keeping with the tone of the pieces she had produced. Still photography does not have to be boring — shooting inanimate objects allow you to really be creative. The possibilities are endless. With the PaperThick Ink suites we played around and had a blast experimenting with different looks.

The Shannon Project with miniature chandelier to compliment the chic dress shopping excursion invites; and the Bird’s of a Feather invitation suite is paired with miniature bird cages and paper crane. (Brian and Ngoc’s Birds of a Feather wedding was featured on theknot.com)

Check out her etsy shop and mention ‘lingphotography’ right now for 10% off your entire order (limit 5 only!).

I met Masud, Emily and baby Lyla at Mall of America for this fun family session last week. It was also Lyla’s first birthday! What an honor to be able to spend some time with the birthday girl!

Emily and Masud decided to build a panda for Lyla.

I adore this shot.

No first birthday is perfect without a messy baby. : )

Masud and Emily, it was a pleasure working with you! Lyla is too cute for words… and thank you for allowing me to be a part of Lyla’s first birthday celebration.
warmly,
Ai Ling
