the nick haas trio

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to shoot the album cover art for a super talented jazz band called The Nick Haas Trio. We are now in the process of designing the cover art and I can’t wait when the album is finally released!!

Since no post should go on without a photo, so just for a sneak peak, this is Mr. Nick Haas, the lead guitarist for the band, rocking the guitar.
Strobe info for those who are interested: Manually exposed at f8.0, SB600 strobe on camera right, triggered via pocket wizards.

Chandra - For something with so much black, that certainly has a lot of atmosphere! It’s almost like, “Nick Haas! He will bring light into the darkness!” :D

amelie - Ohhh an album !! Congrats :) It will be nice to see the rest of the photos, I hope they’ll be ready for you to show the pictures soon ! One day, I want to learn all about pocket wizards and strobes too :)
