gretchen and pat {wedding day}

Crossroads Church, Cottage Grove, Minnesota July 11, 2008

I have been looking forward to their wedding since their awesome engagement session. It certainly was a beautiful wedding, and what I love most about Gretchen and Pat’s wedding is that while they certainly had a fabulous day filled with laughters and emotions, it was also about the people they loved and were celebrating with. It was a celebration of love.

Right after the ceremony, the newly weds stole a private moment. I love this.

We then boarded the limousine and headed to the bar for some celebration time.

the girl with red shoes

I had the privilege to work with Andrea last week for a bridal inspired fashion shoot. She rocked the shoot with her mom’s gorgeous 70s wedding dress. Gosh, I love the 70s. : )

Some tilt shift love using my 85mm tilt shift lens. I should really use this lens more often.

rebecca and shane {wedding day}

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Chaska, Minnesota July 6, 2008

Simple. Classic. Real.
That’s how I would describe this amazing wedding.
Even though I hadn’t actually met the bride and groom before the wedding, Rebecca and Shane charmed me with their warm and appreciative hearts.

Rebecca and Shane’s traditional Jewish wedding is full of meaningful rituals, from signing of the ketubah, to the seven circles, to breaking of the glass — they are all so amazing, individually and collectively.

The gorgeous landscapes at the arboretum makes it one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding venue.
