brian and ngoc’s wedding, part ii : nuptial!

date : october 17, 2009
ceremony and reception : ackerhurst dairy barn, omaha, nebraska

Apart from their amazing photobooth, there were many other awesomeness that made Brian and Ngoc’s wedding unique and fun.

Brian had planned for Katie, the hairdresser to deliver the diamond earrings to Ngoc as a surprise gift when she arrived for her hair appointment. It was probably one of the sweetest thing I’ve ever witnessed.

Those Badgley Mischka shoes. I mean, look at those shoes!

And of course, the very beautiful bridal party. Cheers for unconventional bridesmaid dresses! And double cheers for buying your own suits and vests instead of renting them!

The details at Brian and Ngoc’s wedding were impeccable — the paper cranes escort card holders, the handmade boutonnieres, the beautifully decorated site were just a few to mention.

Gotta love a couple that does high fives before sealing the deal.

And looking dashing while 10,000 other things were happening. They just made it look so easy.

MyChoi - Mwahah! I get to be the first to comment and tell you, Ai Ling, that your images are what weddings are all about. They don’t just emote, they conjure up all the poignancy and brilliance of the day. YOU are the crispy rice noodle in the vegetarian salad of life!

emily - What a beautiful wedding! They have impeccable taste! I actually teared up a little at the first sight kiss, and those lantern shots are basically to die for. Cooooooool!

Ngoc - I don’t know what to say!! They’re BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE them! You captured all the emotions of the day so perfectly – thank you so much for coming all the way down and doing such a wonderful job! I can’t tell you how grateful I am. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is perfect (down to the song of the slideshow!. THANK YOU…(*tear* – hahah!)

Ai Ling - Hey My, I like that. Can I also be the lettuce? hehe

Emily! No kidding. Those lanterns were super awesome.

Ngoc, I am glad you love the photos! Thanks for everything. :)

Christine - Please email me. I am interested in seeing more photos of your wedding. I am looking at having mine at the barn also.

Lindsay - Absolutely wonderful photos! Ngoc and Brian will always be able to remember and relive their day just by looking at these. They tell a complete story of the occasion by capturing every special moment. Excellent work!

Brian - Wow! I haven’t had a chance to thank you. I’ve had such a great experience with you as our photographer and it’s been great to get to know you. I’m so happy with the outcome, you are the best photographer I know, I wanted to thank you and your family for coming down (your kid is the cutest). Thank you again so much for everything. I’ve told everyone about you and your pictures are amazing. Rock on with your bad self!

Laurie Payne - Putting aside that I am really partial to the groom, I think this wedding was special because it was so unconventional, leaving room for true drama and artistry. Ngoc and Brian and Rene and Dan and all the people who came through, from the little cranes to the parking signs, made that happen. Now your special eye will keep that happening for all of us every time we look at the pictures. Thank you so much.

Deb - Nogc’s heritage was beautifully and tastefully articulated in her and Brian’s wedding. I love the elegance, and simiplicity, it simply took my breath away. Through Ling’s eye and camera came refined richness that captured memories for us to keep. It is like we are still there enjoying the day. Thank you to all that particpated in making Brian & Nogc dream coming true.

Ashley - Wow!! These pictures are **amazing**. You did an incredible job caputuring every moment. You definitely showed the true sides of Ngoc & Brian in such an elegant way!! Absolutely gorgeous!

Jennifer Biglow - Ai Ling, these photos are exquisite! But then again, so are the subjects! COngratulations Brian and Ngoc!

Briana - Bee-utiful! Ngoc your wedding looked fabulous, I’m jealous!

Ai Ling - Thank you! : )

Holly Judy - Hello! Just wanted to let you know that what you did with “the barn” is amazing! So elegant. I am planning a wedding for Spring 2013 at the barn. I was wondering if you remember how much fabric you used to decorate your ceremony site? I LOVE that idea! It is soo beautiful! :)

Amber - I love this where was it located???

Ai Ling - It’s in Omaha, Nebraska.
