Sit tight, because this is a record breaking wedding blog post.
This post contains three of my brides, past and presents, all so amazingly talented. My, being Jill’s best friend, paired with her sister Ngoc, worked magic and helped put together this enchanted wedding. You might still remember their beautiful weddings last year — My’s warmth of frost wedding and Ngoc’s birds of a feather wedding. They waved their magic wedding wands and everything became gold.

It was titled “The Lake Wedding”. Jill and Matt were married in the backyard of Jill’s parents house, on an island, by the lake. Beautiful day, awesome couple, amazing details… it couldn’t have been more perfect!


The ceremony was intimate and touching.


The details for this wedding are simply incredible. From the wedding dress made and altered by Jill’s mom and sister, to using a Harry Potter book as the ring box, to customized koozies, to hand crafted accessories, to candy ‘tree’, to pirate treasure map guestbook, to crazy cool cake topper, to paper lanterns and paper buntings (I am borderline obsessed with those!)… they are all so colorful and breathtaking.


Matt changed into a Sponge Bob t-shirt, shorts and sandals after the ceremony. I must say, it is the best wedding attire I have ever seen. Way to go, Matt!

This just shows how I am always lucky to get the best clients. Somehow they let me talked them into doing this…

Jill and Matt, you blew me away with how much of this wedding you did on your own, and how you managed to do it all without being completely stressed out, mystifies me. Thank you for choosing me as your photographer. It is such an honor to be able to spend the day with you and witness all the love. Lastly, thanks for rocking my socks off!

After katy’s engagement photos and her amazing wedding, we met again for her bridal shoot. Katy brought along her two adorable daughters, Sydney and Shelby and we had fun splashing in the water! The girls sure did not hesitate much when given the green light to help trash mom’s dress. : )



These made me smile.


Katy trashed her dress after the shoot, making this a real ‘trash’ the dress session!
