It never cease to amaze me when someone stays in the same place and I took the same picture over and over and it would be different, every single frame. Photography is so wonderful, so powerful, so amazing. It makes me happy, and it keeps me happy. It is a magical world.

The heart of my photography is the people, and the honest interactions I can capture. It is so much more than just a click of the shutter - it's the smiles, the tears, the laughs, the little moments in lives that mean the most. I’ve been really looking forward to My and Mike’s wedding and it’s finally here. My had shown me her then work-in-progress invitation and I was so impressed, but when I finally received it in the mail it was a whole other story. The whole package was simply a piece of art.
2 more days to their wedding, and I am so excited to be a part of it!
Starting 2009 with this amazing wedding? Oh yea, it is going to be an awesome year.

A lot has happened since the previous post a couple of months ago. The Nick Haas Trio has finally released their first CD!
It was truly an amazing experience for me to shoot and design the album art for this talented band, and it was an even greater feeling to be able to hold my work and see it with my own eyes.

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to shoot the album cover art for a super talented jazz band called The Nick Haas Trio. We are now in the process of designing the cover art and I can’t wait when the album is finally released!!
Since no post should go on without a photo, so just for a sneak peak, this is Mr. Nick Haas, the lead guitarist for the band, rocking the guitar.
Strobe info for those who are interested: Manually exposed at f8.0, SB600 strobe on camera right, triggered via pocket wizards.
