It’s pretty amazing when two people, completely genuine in character, are so uninhibitedly in love. It was obvious from the reactions of friends and family that everyone was so happy for them.

It’s been a week since Ian was born. We still can’t believe we are parents but we are getting to know each other better everyday. Everyday is like a new adventure for us. We are constantly fascinated by Ian’s every little movement and every funny little noises he makes.

So here he is, our pride and joy, at one week old.

Christine - He looks just like you!

Sherene - Look at all that beautiful hair!! He’s adorable!

yes, I know the feeling – you can just look at them forever can’t you?

Chandra - Is his hair black or dark brown like Gigi’s? I know lots of people are going to say he looks like you because he looks Asian. But really, I think he looks like David-if David was Asian. :D

ailing - hi christine, at the first glance, he does look like me, but then if you look closely, a lot of his features are like his dad’s. :)

sherene, yes, the hair!! That’s what everyone said at the hospital.

you are so right… we can just stare at him for hours, that is, whenever we can keep our eyes open anyway!! LOL

hey chandra, his hair is dark brown with reddish highlights.
Today David looked at Ian’s eyes and confirmed that his eyes are actually greyish/greenish, not brown like mine.

Thank you for all your concerns and well wishes. We made it!

Baby Ian was born at 9.53pm on September 12, 2008.
8lb 1.2oz, 20 inches. We cried, we laughed, we went over the moon.
This little bundle of joy is the best thing God has given us.
