rachel + andrew {love shoot}

Rachel and Andrew opted for some winter photos in the St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park for their fabulous and fun engagement session. They will be getting married in this park in the spring. Congratulations, guys!

It was such an amazing view with the white snow on the ground and the green leaves from the evergreen trees. It started snowing about half hour before the photoshoot which made the shoot really interesting. Rachel and Andrew are so easy going and so much fun to work with! We had a great time playing in the snow. They are up for anything. : )

Love these.

What’s better than a good ol’ snow angels and snow fights? These, I really love. ; )

Thanks for the great shoot, Rachel and Andy. I will see you guys soon!

warmly,
Ai Ling

the journey continues…

I can’t believe it’s already 2008 today! Time really does fly. 2007 was magical. I started Ling Photography studio in June 2007 and every morning marked another amazing and cheerful day. I met so many amazing people that has been nothing but kind to me; I am truly blessed to have the opportunities to photograph all the wonderful people; I am really thankful for everything that has happened to me — I am living my dream, and it’s the best thing ever.

So thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for inspiring me.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you.

Cheers,
Ai Ling

Dave - and you think 2007 was great? Wait till you experience 2008!!

Cheers!! – dav :)

Shadow - And thank you for all the amazing photos~~~^__^

trip, part III

We then drove to the Death Valley. It has to be my most favorite place in the entire trip. Amazing place, I tell ya.

And then it’s off to the Joshua Tree National Park.

This is the ocotillo plant. Isn’t it gorgeous?

We stopped to photograph a pepper farm on our way to the Salton Sea.

On our way back we stopped at the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. We had the whole desert to ourselves. It was surreal.

I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as we enjoyed our trip. Till next time, ciao!

love,
Ai Ling

Nessie Noodle - Ai Ling, these are so fun. I am glad you had a good trip.. death valley is a magical place isn’t it?

Happy Solstice,
Merry Christmas
and may 2008 bring you adventure and joy!

Carrie - Ai Ling,
The trip photos are nice. Your pictures always make me happy & peaceful when looking. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, may you have a pleasant 2008.

By the way, I will start to join some photography clubs and workshops, have you tried this way before when learning photography? :)

Ohh and one more comment, I find it kinda confusing to look for the comment link on the 1st page. I think you set your comment link on the top of each article, right? which is kind of opposite of the norm.

Best Wishes,
Carrie

Shadow - 跳得好!
拍得好!

Lauranne - these are all great ^-^
And your new blog looks awesome :) very good choice of pictures and tones ! I liked the “drawer-drawing” a lot, too, maybe you could use it somewhere, even if not as a drawer?
Congrats in any case, you did a very nice job !!
