I had my first Trash-the-Dress session last Saturday, and can I say, what a fun experience! A BIG thank you to Jesse for agreeing to be my guinea pig and for being such a great sport!


Jesse’s gorgeous dress was custom made in London while the beadwork was done in the Orient — simply stunning!


We started the session at the beach by Lake Phalen. It was a beautiful day with blue blue sky.


We later went to the Minnesota Historical Museum to take advantage of their vintage room showcase. Lots of great props there.



I feel so lucky because Jesse is a model and it was so great working with her. Thanks, Jesse, it was a pleasure working with you!

The camera loves Natalia. She has the brightest smile and the sweetest personality. Her versatility to adapt to different looks simply amazes me. I was told that she has been taking a lot of self portraits with her digital camera, and that really helps during our session. Almost all the shots were amazingly good, and I had such a hard time deciding which one is the best.



We went to Lake Phalen for some outdoor shots. Minnesota weather is so unpredictable, it was miserably cold on Friday, but it was warm and sunny on Sunday. The park was full of park-goers doing outdoor activities — feels like summer again. : )



Watch out people, Natalia is going to take the modeling world by storm!

tiffany + chad {love shoot}

I had an engagement session with Tiffany and Chad yesterday — such a lovely couple! So in love, and so much fun to work with! We started the session at Minnehaha Falls and moved on to Lake Nokomis. The weather was cold and breezy, the wind chill actually hit freezing point yesterday. (Wait a minute, what happen to the rest of summer?!! LOL)



They are such a beautiful couple.


Tiffany and Chad are getting married in Riviera Maya, Mexico in January. Tiffany said she has always wanted a beach wedding. They get to escape Minnesota’s brutally cold winter and have a nice warm beach wedding in Mexico. : )




Tiffany is a gymnast and shooting action shots with her is just a photographer’s dream come true.


Thank you so much, you guys rock!! Congratulations again on your engagement.
