the Soap Factory, Minneapolis, Minnesota • October 5, 2007
Emily and Chad’s wedding was fabulous. Yes, fabulous. I can’t think of any other words to describe it. It was held at the Soap Factory which they converted into a stylish venue to host a wedding.
The current exhibition is called “host” and we were surrounded by all these interactive modern art pieces. Here are just a few of them.
Emily looked gorgeous in her dress. When we went to the Stone Arch Bridge for some photos a little girl saw her and asked if she was a bride or a princess. : )
Chad surprised Emily with a wedding gift.
The ceremony was intimate and unique.
Emily and Chad set up a polaroid station for the guestbook. One guest wrote this and I thought it would make a great ring shot. : )
The weather forecast predicted 100% chance of precipitation but look at the clear sky!! We got really lucky.
Cake cutting was intense. : )
Everyone had an amazing time. Great music, great food, great celebration.
Thank you, Emily and Chad, for letting me be a part of your special day. Congratulations to both of you on the start of a beautiful life together!
warmly,
Ai Ling
Connie - Some great creative stuff Ai Ling! I love the unique feel of the whole shoot – both in your style and their venue and dress.
ahpor - I love Chad’s big sunglasses !!!
Amélie - Wow, what a unique venue !
I love your photo of the computer chip or something (I mean, the art piece).
Looks like the like was shy during the ceremony but you did a great job ! I also really love the ring photo. Is it your hand writing ?
As usual, you did a great job, and I love the variety of shots you have. Man, that fish eye … :)
I could write so much about your photos :)
I really like the light in the cake-cutting photos too, looks very natural. One day I want a workshop with you !
Ai Ling - No, not my handwriting. A guest wrote that and I thought it would be great for a ring shot.
A workshop!! LOL
Calista - Gosh! Good one.. You are getting better. They are so happy in all the shots you took! WOW
Seza - Love the pics. You really did a nice job and you’re right the wedding was amazing.
