We hired the awesome Jody of Majesty Murals to do a wall-to-wall mural in the baby’s room. We chose my all time favorite Japanese animation Totoro for the theme and Jody did an amazing job. She is such a wonderful artist, and her work is efficient, the whole mural only took 4 days to complete. I am simply blown away by her talent.

Day one — from the blank white wall to sketching and painting.
Day two — continued painting.
Day three — more painting, all the characters are coming together now.
Day four — painting and touching up. Spaceman Spiff is added to surprise David. Spaceman Spiff is David’s favorite cartoon character and I am so glad that Jody was able to work him into the mural. I will always remember the big grin on David’s face when he first noticed Spaceman Spiff on the wall. Thank you again, Jody!!!
The mural is completed!!!
The furnitures have yet to be arranged, so stay tuned for more updates on the baby room! We are so excited! : )
