the north shore

I haven’t posted a personal post in a long time. Some people (myself included) are probably starting to wonder if I really exist, so I thought this might be a nice little post. I had most of October off, and I promised myself I would give myself a little vacation… from work, from all the house projects, from life in general. We went up north, relaxed for a few days. Nothing fancy, considering Ian is only two, and full of two-year-old energy. Did the usual, you know, hiking, chasing after a two year old, laughing, throwing rocks into the Lake Superior, more chasing after a two year old, and more laughing.

It was nice. : )

That’s all, folks. Hope you enjoyed the photos.
Till next time, take care!

warmly,
Ai Ling

alla + alex {love shoot}

I met Alla and Alex in downtown Hasting for a leisure evening engagement shoot. It’s easy to fall in love with these two. They are friendly, fun, so in love, humorous, and not to mention absolutely beautiful.

I especially loved the opening sequence in this slideshow. I hope you enjoy them as well!

asha

It’s been a little more than a year since Rebecca and Pradeep’s wedding, and last week I had the pleasure to meet baby Asha. Barely a week old, and cute as a button!

Asha is sleeping in the same cradle Rebecca used to sleep in when she was a baby. : )

Both the grandmothers are over the moon with this little bundle of joy.

Such tenderness in these. Gotta love the beautiful fall light!

Congratulations, Rebecca and Pradeep! Asha is precious and I am so honored to meet her. I look forward to seeing you guys again!

warmly,
Ai Ling

Rebecca - As usual Ai Ling – Amazing. We can’t wait to see the rest! Thank you for taking so much care with these!

Colleen - Such wonderful real photos. ART!
I love the black and whites with Pradeep and Proud Grandmothers.
I love the worried smile where Asha looks like a grown-up.
‘Old Soul’ my mother would say.
Pradeep’s beautiful eyes shining out of her little face.
Her feet are gorgeous and sooo long.
Rebecca’s kisses are most tender and true.
It all makes me cry with joy at this new being on the planet.
Welcome Asha!
Great Auntie Colleen
