rachel and andrew {wedding day}

St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park, Hastings, Minnesota May 31, 2008

The day Rachel and Andrew got married was one of those rare, serendipitous days when nothing could go wrong, when nothing would dare go wrong.
“It was perfect — just the way I imagined it would be!” gushed Rachel.
And it was just that. P-E-R-F-E-C-T. From start to finish.

Rachel’s mom, Kathy was in tears when she first saw Rachel on her wedding day even though she hasn’t put on her dress yet! The whole day was just filled with emotions and happy tears. It was unbelievably amazing.

I love this image of Kathy and the veil.

Rachel and Andrew decided to see each other before the ceremony, which allowed us enough time for pictures. This was taken when they saw each other for the first time.

Rachel and Andrew, thank you so much for choosing me to document your special day. I can only hope I did justice to the beautiful moments of your wedding day! You are both kind, funny and thoughtful… I can’t say enough awesome things about you! I wish you the best as you fall more in love and make the world a better place.

Laura - You’ve done it again! This is amazing set and I’m sure the bride and groom will be beyond happy! Beautiful, emotional work Ai Ling!

Calista - I’m pretty sure the couple and their family gonna love these pictures you take! Love the green! The bride looks extremely beautiful in her wedding gown.. well done!

Amelie - You caught so many beautiful moments of this couple’s special day ! And the slideshow is fantastic too, there’s just so many beautiful and interesting pictures … I also really like the ring shots, both the one on the leaf that looks very good and the one with the “levitating” rings that’s very impressive.

Bonnie Hudkins - What a wonderful display of pictures. I can’t imagine doing something like that. Congratulations to my great nephew Andrew and his new bride. Looks like a wonderful wedding. I wish I would’ve been there. The pictures are OUTSTANDING!! Thank you for sending them to me.

Kathy Taylor - Thankyou for making my son’s wedding so very precious and memorable. The photograghy is simply awesome. !

mia

Meet Feng-Yi, Mike and little Mia. Mia is seven month old and she is the definition of a cute baby!! I must confess, I have zero resistance towards cute babies. I had to control myself so I wouldn’t keep going “oooh” and “aaah” throughout the shoot like a fool. LOL

This beautiful family made my job so much easier.

It was actually the first time Little Mia put on a dress and it was the first time she sat on the grass. She wasn’t feeling the outdoor very much though. :)

sam + autumn {love shoot}

It started after Sam sent a picture of himself on a horse to Autumn and cheered her up.
They met, they fell in love, and that’s just the beginning.

Smooches, laughters and rainbow — that’s how I’d describe the engagement session with Sam and Autumn. We started at the beautiful Japanese Garden and moved towards the railway tracks nearby (until we were told to get off the property — opps!). It sure was a fun session. They are so in love and so easy going.

Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Ling Photography . Photo blog » autumn and sam’s wedding - […] Autumn and Sam are married! : ) It’s pretty amazing when two people, completely genuine in character, are so uninhibitedly in love. It was obvious from the reactions of friends and family that everyone was so happy for them. Sam showing some mad yo-yo skills. My favorite of the day. […]
